Nice that you insured it. I have had less trouble with USPS than other couriers with claims. I have never had success in calling in a local post office though.

Other than legitimately lost packages, issues I had were typos or torn labels.
Just my opinion but at this point I'm thinking it was a postmaster at Monroe NC who wanted a Gretsch guitar. :(
Stoppppp don’t say that!

Honestly I’m passed the rage stage and I’ve moved on to acceptance, sadly. You know it comes or doesn’t. Breaks my heart a little, but that’s how it is. I can’t devote TOO much stress to it. Bad for your heart.

Any developments or updates? I hope it arrives safely and soon.

I had a FedEx package go from CA > AZ > NM > KS > IL > IN (my state) > KY > and now on its way back to IN and supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Seems silly it was within 30 miles of my house and then sent 200 miles out of state and then back.

No one will respond or answer my, and my postmaster’s, many requests for information. Charlotte is dead silent on the issue. It claims the package was scanned in their Hub on the 15th.

I’m preparing myself of “replacing” this guit with an “inferior”, albeit still wonderful instrument. I only say inferior due to the inherent collectibility of the 6122-1959LH. Probably going to be a run of the mill 6120 with some TV Jones Supertrons or Classics in it.

If this is the route that must be travelled, I hope I bond with the 6120 and am not butt hurt about it lol.

Has an insurance claim been filed yet? I would bet good money that it's just sitting in the back, that's where mine languished for several days before the internal paperwork they needed to fill out for the loss inquiry forced them up off their asses. Apparently, that is more of a pain for them to do than actually looking for the package in question...

Crazy you mention this. My best friend and I have some deep conversations on the subject. We yesterday were discussing the idea of
“Why do you not me (Him)?”

This idea of control that we try to possess is futile really. Hence me waking up at total peace with everything. I feel like I had to learn to let it go before it came.
I’m in a total place of appreciation today.

After work I will hopefully being going down a rabbit hole of tonal and sonic bliss.

How far is it from Charlotte to Mooresville?
The reason I ask is that USPS tracking shows it left Charlotte at 9:10PM on July 15th 2020.
And it arrived at Mooresville 7:33AM on July 22nd 2020.

Inquiring minds want to know. :)

You could walk there faster, a crawl would be a comparable arrival time.
In miles it’s about 37
