So I got a pretty good deal on a guitar I normally wouldn't be able to afford, plus I sold one of my other Core PRS to help fund it... Never had a swamp ash bodied guitar before, but if they're all like this, it won't be my last. Lightweight, resonant, full sounding, comfortable to play. This is a special run for Chuck Levin''s anniversary or something. It's a Custom 24-08 (additional coil splitting/pickup selection for 8 unique tones), Wood Library, special Private Stock Beach Fade finish, flamed maple Pattern Thin neck, and the previous owner made matching truss rod and back cavity covers. This is a guitar of a lifetime, and I don't plan to ever part with it.

HNGD! The flame on that neck is insane!

What's funny about this one is, I remember when the original owner posted this as a NGD over on the PRS forum, and I can remember how badly I wanted it then. Fortunately for me, he bought 2 of these (some kind of Dr or something) and decided he didn't need two. One was this color and the other was their Northern Lights, also a Private Stock color. Apparently he also has a Private Stock build going right now, so he was willing to move this more than normal.

Ooh wow! That's gotta be some of the nicest woods I've seen on a guitar, top to bottom.

thanks everyone. I'm tending to use it more and more. Still not a huge fan of the Pattern Thin neck, but it's growing on me. But the rest of the guitar is fantastic
