Love the little arrow at bottom right to go back to top—could we add one that goes to bottom (i.e. last post)?

Good question, I've not seen a feature like that on any site to be honest!
If you click the circular icon next to the topic, (if it is green) it takes you to the first unread post
If the topic is read that doesn't help though.
The other option is in your user control panel, you can reverse the topic direction, so the newest post is the first you see. Important to note that you'd be best to be in the practice of the first unread post behaviour above, otherwise you'll see the newest post but might miss other posts lower down.
