I'm guessing a tone addiction ain't the only "addiction" Jeff has. Anyone wanna buy a $200ish Agile for a grand?

Haha, ain't that the truth! Unfortunately when you sell something it's not about the bang for the buck but the actual market value, and the market value for Agiles is generally quite low (which is awesome for buying them used).
Not sure what you're talking about, it's still there. No one on planet Earth is going to pay anywhere near $1,000 for this thing unless they're certifiable .
Yep, $980 shipped plus tax which'll put it to about $1050...aka the cost of the real deal Ernie Ball guitar this one was copying .
They typically sell between $200 and $300. In fact, here's the very Reverb listing where this seller bought this exact guitar just a couple weeks ago...for $250, or maybe a bit less if an offer was accepted. We actually discussed it in a thread on the old AGF before we all got Momo'd.

If I were inclined to be a troll, I'd message him with the link, mention I was interested in it and and innocently ask what he had done to it to make it now worth three times as much...slowhand84 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 04, 2020 9:55 am

I have quite a few "one of" or at least unique guitars that I hadn't seen before or after I had bought the one I have but that doesn't make them worth any more than I paid. In fact, I suspect mot of them are worth less...

Four times actually . Usually the way those convos go is the person either sheepishly admits they're just trying to hose someone by saying something like "well you never know what someone will pay for it!" or they just get angry and curse you out. I get that folks can ask whatever they want for an item they're selling but I hate the idea of someone who isn't knowledgeable getting screwed. Luckily in this case it's so outrageous of a price that it's never gonna happen anyway...so I mostly posted this for all of us to have a laugh.tobijohn wrote: ↑Sat Jul 04, 2020 10:44 amIf I were inclined to be a troll, I'd message him with the link, mention I was interested in it and and innocently ask what he had done to it to make it now worth three times as much...slowhand84 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 04, 2020 9:55 am
