I'd say they're a great fit. It gets D'angelico entry into the amp market solid bodies that are distinctive and a known name in pedals. The amps are out of my range but a used Supro or D'angelico could be done.

Seems to make sense but I would expect more as a merger. But then d'angelico does seem to have some big money behind them somehow.

Interesting times. Of the two guitar brands, Supro struck me as having the highest quality and best feel and sound. Pigtronix makes really good stuff but I recall some of the cooler pedals they had being large and requiring their own special power supplies (and being pricey).
