These go for just above $1000 new here in Bangkok. I'm pretty sure I could get this for $675 or so..looks in pristine condition...always wanted a white strat with a mint guard...these MIJ models are very good guitars by all accounts

I could always turn my Strat clone (Maya) into a HB hot rails mod monster, This one will be keeping me up tonite.

Dang it if I didn't have $1500 of extra bills this month.....annual homeowner's maintenance fee and helping GF out on some family issues....arghhh.

Another Strat...uh oh I might be turning into @peskypesky @peskypesky1

That MIJ '60s Strat sounds like a great find, especially if it's in pristine condition. Japanese Fenders are known for their excellent craftsmanship, smooth necks, and vintage-inspired tones, and they tend to hold their value well. If you’ve always wanted a white Strat with a mint guard, this one seems like it checks all the boxes. The price seems fair, too, considering how solid MIJ guitars are. If you're debating between this and modding your Maya, it really depends on whether you want that classic single-coil Strat sound or something with more punch from the hot rails. Either way, I totally get the dilemma, once you get into Strats, it’s hard to stop at just one!
