If you've been reluctant to shell out 6 bills for one of these, this might be your chance. There are 5 in stock as I'm writing this. *NOT B-STOCK*

If Kurt has to discount by 33% to move them, it's probably the last time they'll be in stock...

A lot of premium features on that guitar. Nice choice of compound neck radius.

Yes, the concept was my idea but @Mossman and one other member (sorry, I cannot recall who) did all the design work. Kurt sold a lot of them before sales apparently fizzled out. Kurt did me a small favor and had two plain top CSBs made, the one I bought has your AMI Supernaturals in it...andrewsrea wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2024 11:47 am A lot of premium features on that guitar. As for mine being a custom, no more so than the two CBSFs that were also made in that batch. Now maybe if I had asked for gold hardware, black plastic and double bound....

No, I never did. It's kind of a Yamaha SBG tribute guitar now. I need to do one also for the gold top AD-3200MCC which got the LP Special treatment...

and I was one of the two purchases above... and 100% due to @sabasgr68 creating this thread.
long time lurker, semi-contributor way back in the early 2010's on the old forum.
I have a handful of AL3000 and AL3100's from back in that timeframe. So when I saw a double-cut neck-thru for $400 that was spec'd out by forum members, I couldn't resist.
It arrived today and it is really nice. Only thing that surprised me was how thin and lighter it was than my 2010's era AL's are. Again, I've been away for awhile and it's 2024 now. I recall some Agile builds at one point going out to Vietnam and started to get less thick bodies and less baseball bat necks. Though this AD3200 is made in South Korea.
Are all Agile AL/AD's more like this now, or was the AD3200 the forum spec'd out here for Kurt intentionally slim? The neck especially is quite less meaty than my other early Agile single cut LP's.
I'm not complaining, just observing base on my purchases 10-15 years ago.
Honestly, it is kinda nice that this is lighter. It weighs in at 8.35lbs, and feels great in my hands.

Kurt's pictures don't do it justice, it's actually beautiful!
Thanks for your observations and comparison between this and your old ALs.
I don't have one, but I definitely like this model, mostly for the upper fret access; everybody says that it is actually very good.
I'm a little sad because, as @tobijohn mentioned, this discount might mean that Kurt won't be selling them once all of them are sold - they seem to not be selling that well -, and that will mean that I'll have lesser chances to finally get one.
I've been out of luck - so to speak, because I haven't really relied on luck to get by, but the thing is that I haven't been able to get a permanent, steady and good income all these years -, so I haven´t got the chance to save and grab one, in Tobacco finish because that's the one I like. My plan was to save like 80 bucks a month for a year and I could have been able to get one. $900 all at once is too much money ($600 normal price, $115 hard case, $30 Rondo shipping, $120 shipping to Venezuela).
At this price point it'll be around $700 to get one at my door, but still too much. The adult in me says that $700 is still too much for a guitar, even if I had the money; the dreamer in me says dreams always have a price. LOL
Anyway, I'm happy every time somebody yells "NGD" and it's one of this model.
Like I always say to everyone, enjoy it! It´s really a beauty!
And welcome back again! Saludos!
PS: Would be nice if you share a pic of your Agiles, including the new one

I believe that the thinner AL-3100m and AL-3200m first appeared around the end of 2015, followed later (I don't recall how much later) by the 3100mc/3200mc which was coil split. I believe the 3100mcc/3200mcc with the multi-radius neck first showed up maybe five years ago. I think the AD-3200mcc has been around for about three years, and all of them came out of a different factory than the previous AL-3xxx and AL-2xxx (the pickguard, control cover and switch cover all have different dimensions and are not interchangeable with the previous old-style AL-3100/AL-3200).Turtle wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2024 3:09 pm

Someone will need to fact-check my timeline as my memory isn't what it used to be, and I don't have the time to go over all my old Rondo receipts to check dates.
For some strange reason, the lefty AL-3200MCCs and AD-3200MCCs are all over 9lbs, at least mine are.
And lastly, if you're going to actively use the coil split feature, I strongly suggest you replace the stock knobs with speed knobs, it's really hard pulling up or getting a fingernail under the edge of the stock knobs.

It's rapidly approaching the ten year anniversary since I became part of this community. The very first thread I ever posted on AGF after joining had to do with questions about the thickness of the body of my new Agile AL-3101M. This was at the end of December 2014.tobijohn wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2024 10:37 pmI believe that the thinner AL-3100m and AL-3200m first appeared around the end of 2015, followed later (I don't recall how much later) by the 3100mc/3200mc which was coil split. I remember those times when people started noticing the difference in thickness, not necessarily making it a bad thing - for some it was kinda good, actually; less weight on their back! -.toomanycats wrote: ↑Tue Dec 17, 2024 6:43 amIt's rapidly approaching the ten year anniversary since I became part of this community. As I have only had one LP in my life, and it was an AL3000, I couldn´t compare it to anything. I did like it being hefty, its weight, but also thought that a little lighter might be nice when playing for a long time, and also, thought that it it was thinner, upper fret acces could have been at least a hair better. But again, couldn´t compare it to anything. Now I don´t have it anymore, so there won´t be any opportunity. But I was kind of used to its weight and thickness.
Very different animal, I know, but when I got to try a single cut PRS some time back, I was shocked at how thin and light it was; nothing to do with the Agile. Not necessarily bad, I just thought I would need some time to adapt to it.
Still, those AD3200 are my favorites, following closely by those AL3200 as second favorites. Only for upper fret access. A budget version of those would be just great. Maybe when Tobijohn buys the Agile name will start producing such models

Thanks for the responses everyone. So "they don't make 'em like they used to", which is not necessarily bad... just different.
So none of the AL/AD/etc models Rondo has listed are of the thicker/heavier spec?
Not complaining, this new AD3200 is fantastic. I just didn't understand all changes to Kurt's offerings over the last 10+ years... things change.

OK, I was off by a year on the introduction of the thinner AL-3100m/3200m, it was the end of 2014, not 2015. I remember because there were about a half dozen lefty CSBF AL-3200s sitting for a few months without a sale and I was able to resist buying one until around the end of the year. Of course, as soon as I bought one, Kurt cut the price by $100 or so.toomanycats wrote: ↑Tue Dec 17, 2024 6:43 am
