still cheaper direct from Thomann, especially with new cheaper DHL option and B-Stocks are almost always available.

$229 plus tax for a TE-52 via Reverb vs. $194.74 shipped ($139 + $55.74 shipping). Since it is below $800 De Minimus limit (unless that was recently changed and I am not aware)
10 years, 2 months, and 8 days of blissful ignorance ruined by that snake in the grass Major Tom.

Just the threat of Tariffs has importers adjusting to maintain market share.

I'm trying to think of any gear I should order before the tariffs kick in. Maybe a new audio interface for my computer? Maybe a new computer?

Don't need any more guitars, that's for sure. Don't really need an amp, although I'd like that 15-watt Monoprice tube amp.

Hmmm... what do I need?

I was on the fence until last week on getting an ASM Hydrasynth (Chinese company). The tariff threat and a seasonal sale price drop of $200 pushed me to buy it. Believe it or not, one of the applications I intend for it is as a guitar processor. You can use most of its synth engine on external audio inputs, and I like the idea of a guitar tone that is still obviously guitar, but has some synth processing applied. That idea goes back to at least Pete Townshend with an ARP 2600, probably earlier too.

My father (born in 1913) always said "It was the tariffs that put the "great" in "The Great Depression." "

I wish us luck but have little to no hope! :(
