Sharing with all our AGF friends here since this style of guitar isn't for me, but it sure is a beaut! Looks like we got a Gotoh Floyd Rose, Duncan pickups, a really nice quilt (guessing it might be veneer on a solid maple top, but still), etc.

Good candidate for the 10% off used coupon - seems a little steep but it probably cost a lot more than that new with the trem and such

Right next to it is a real old skool AL - old headstock AND old pointy horn. Looks like the pickups may have been swapped and it has one of those funky TP-6 tailpieces. At $349 that is tempting just for nostalgia's sake.

I don't think I've seen a quilt like that since Kanye got a new jacket

Yeah I get that folks are used to paying $300-ish for used Agiles but it's a different time. The semi-customs like this one don't tend to go for more used than standard ones for the most part, but good luck finding specs like these and a guitar of this quality at even the $550 price tag from most other companies. When you add the Gotoh Floyd (probably close to $200) and the Duncans (same) it's still a pretty solid deal even at full price. I don't think the tuners are stock either and those Grover Imperials in gold are $120-ish as well.

I miss the good ole days, I got my custom AS-1000 from GC for freakin' $199 with case back in the day:

Then again its SX cousins were only $420 total. Yeah times, and prices, have changed.

Yep it was definitely a crazy deal, I think at the time when I calculated it out that custom AS-1000 was close to $1000 from Agile directly. It doesn't differ too much from the stock version, just the addition of the MOP trap inlays and the rosewood board instead of the ebony (which I actually prefer on this style guitar since it's more in line with a 335). It is my favorite of all the Agiles I have ever owned though...the only two left in my collection are that one and an Agile Epic Modern that I got for $299.

That 3125 is in my neck of the woods, looks like my first and only Agile, but it was only a 2000.

That 3125 has been available for quite a while, very nice but just priced too high. After shipping (or even just after tax) it's already more than they were brand new.

I remember around the time that I joined the first forum (2008?), there was a member who used to frequently say that Rondo guitars were a great investment, as they would appreciate in value vs. depreciate.

Yeah there's definitely no truth to that lol, most Agiles that are priced above their new selling price tend to sit around unsold. There are exceptions of course, but those are few and far between. GC Used currently has quite a number of Agile guitars and many have been sitting around unsold for many months because of the price tags.

I kick myself for not picking up a Fireglo Harm 12 string with the two toasters, back in the day.
