Ok, you've been cooped up for a while thanks to covid-19.
You just won a nice new car. And the money to cover an extended trip.
Where would you go & what would you see?
Surely most of us have somewhere they would most like to visit?
What would be your FIRST choice?
(Remember you've gotta drive. No moon shots! )
Drive across upper Canada to Alaska, drive around there in Alaska, then zip down to 4-Corners Arizona/New Mexico scenic cruise, back East through Texas, and either up the East coast, or stay inland through the Appalachian Mtns. I'ld do this cause I love the big natural landscape diversity in areas without so many people. Have to have a generator and a powerful amp to play into the great empty spaces with.

I didn't get the new car. In fact I may have killed my ac to get here and no money to pay for the trip or the ac but I'm in my happy place. My reservations were for the 13th and they finally opened on the 11th. So even with a mask on periodically its still the first time I've had a deep relaxed breath in months.
We were supposed to visit #3 grandson (just celebrated his first birthday with a zoom party) & his parents in Alaska this past week, but the gosh darned pandemic nixed that. So for this (fantasy) trip, I would take delivery of this four wheel drive monster in Anchorage & hit the road! The salmon are running!
If the "car" was actually a top tier touring bike I'd head out to the next Sturgis in South Dakota. That was a bucket list item of mine until I had to sell my Electra Glide.

I've never been to Idaho, Wyoming or Utah....that's where I'd head.
We lived in Idaho for about a year & have traveled all over Utah & Wyoming.
Idaho & Utah both impressed, Wyoming not so much.
The variety of terrain in Idaho & Utah will cause your jaw to drop.
