So I was going through a box of parts that I hadn't looked through in many years, and I found two sets of dog-ear P90s. One silver, one gold. I couldn't for the life of me remember why I had them.

I just now remembered that after discovering how much I like P90s, I had gotten them to put in my two semi-hollows (Epiphone Dot, Douglas WNO-650).

So, is this easy or not? To put dog-ear P90s into my Douglas?
I should add that if I do, I will do the wiring the cheater's way: I'll just cut the pickup wires.

I did read this:
Pro Tip: make sure you connect the wires the right way round. Each pickup will have a live and a ground. If you connect the live wire of a new pickup to the ground wire of the old pickup you'll reverse the phase.

I would see if the cover will cover up all the screws holes and whatnot first.
Otherwise a p90 is longer than a humbucker so some routing may be required

I used a router and cut in back entry plates on my 2 Agile AS2000s. Now I can swap pups around easy.
Traced a backplate where I wanted, and set the router to about 1/2 depth to take a swath as deep as plate thickness, removed the rest, etc.
Didnt botch it, which is nice.
