This is interesting, apparently in small clubs Johnny would turn his Bassman backwards on stage so he could play louder without blowing the windows out

It looks like one of those old style mics or TV antenna (🤣) on top of the amp too..I guess he needed more projection.

Ha ha! Blowing out the drummer's left ear. If the guy is a Harley rider it'll balance out his right ear hearing loss.

Yeah nobody ever asked if that Bassman was loud enough to be heard over a drummer in a live gig

Actually I'm thinking that mic might be so the drummer can be heard over the amp !
