Happy weekend to everyone! Been a while since I had a NGD, so I'm happy to report I just took delivery of this near mint Godin LGX3 I grabbed for a measly $550 with the original hardshell case. All the bells and whistles, including an LR Baggs piezo bridge (with a separate onboard EQ and volume control), Seymour Duncan Duckbucker pickups, an insane quilted maple top, mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard, and locking tuners. Think the body is silver leaf maple on these models if memory serves.
It doesn't really look like it's seen much play...and besides the frets needing a polish I couldn't find any cosmetic issues at all despite it being 20+ years old. It plays and sounds like a million bucks. Godin in my opinion is really one of the best kept secrets in the guitar world, I can't even imagine getting a guitar of this quality from another brand even at double what I paid.
Here she is, and I'll get a few more pics later:

There's enough quilt on that top to attract a cat

Sure is. It reminds me a bit of a PRS Private Stock top, it's pretty wild!

For sure, I have been very impressed with them over the years and the company in general really is criminally underrated. I have this LGX3 and a beautiful XTSA that cost me just over $500, absolutely stunning instrument as well:

I thought it was going to be something like this....
