It got scrambled by a tornado this morning, at least the Thomas Drive area did. I'm not sure about the rest.

Any Fans of Panama City Beach Florida?
Ex-father in law lived there for many years (actually in Lynn Haven, just north of PCB). Spent many a week up there at his beach house. Miss it, but don't miss the ex-wife.
Hate to see the destruction down there. I understand they are still digging out in places from Michael in 2018. Last time I checked Google maps, the ex-FIL's house was badly damaged by Michael and had to be gutted and rebuilt.
Did you guys get any of that stuff in Wausau, @mickey ?

I've never been there, but I used to be jealous of their weather. Tornados are terrible, and I wouldn't wish one on anyone. When I was a kid in Ohio, my parents sent me to go retrieve the mower and put it in the shed "before a storm". As I was passing under a big tree, a tornado was right over our place and it brought half that tree down, narrowly missing me. It left the house alone except a few looser shingles. I didn't get the mower. I ran into the house. I was lucky, and wish everyone anywhere near a tornado similar luck!

I love the panhandle and would sure like to live up there some day.

Can't blame you there! The decision to retire to the Panhandle was the best thing my late wife & I ever did for ourselves!tonebender wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2024 2:52 pm I love the panhandle and would sure like to live up there some day.

I spent a week there in 1978. Nice place..but I'm sure things have changed since. I remember the sunsets being spectacular
Oops...correction I think it was actually circa 1985 just in case the time travelers among us might travel back to 1978 looking for great sunsets, not saying that there might have been great sunsets also in 1978 but one never knows.
