Every morning when I wake up I get to see the blue sky, white clouds, lots of green tress and vegetation, and a bright sun - unless it´s cloudy or rainy, of course, but even that has its beauty -; I get to see and hear birds. I get to see my loved ones.

In a sense, I believe it all makes me feel fortunate and lucky for having the opportunity to enjoy it.

True, I don´t have a house, I don´t have a car, i don´t have a nice job that could give me money safety, I´m not wealthy, but I enjoy life; I enjoy every day of my life, every new day it´s a blessing.

I´n not saying that those things don´t matter - a house, a car, etc. -, and I´d really like to have my own house and all that, but I´d be miserable if I couldn´t enjoy every new day for what it is, a blessing.

Also, I´m not saying that I don´t have my moments; sometimes I do feel sad or worried - part of the human nature, and also, I am where I am and how I am because of the right and wrong choices I´ve made in my life -, but those moments go fast. I always find joy and the strengh and the will to keep on going.

Just wanted to share this feeling today. Count your blessings; there´s always more than what you think or see in the gaps between the problems and difficulties.

Also, and finally, I have my +25 years old Land Rover mug for my every morning coffe, and a guitar to play. No, it´s not an AL/AD3200 or an Ibanez AR420, but someday it´ll be. In the meantime, that´s my space ship into the wonderful world of music.

Have a good one, guys.

Thank you, Sabas for such a sobering AND inspiring reminder of what really matters in life. Life itself is a HUGE blessing that we receive each moment of our it lives... the rest is gravy.

I'm not saying that there aren't things IN life that cause us pain and heartache, but they will pass. And even in the midst of them we still receive blessings EVERY moment of our lives.

Great post, Sabas. Too many people focus on what they don't have vs. what is right in front of them. Great reminder to count your blessings.
