I have gotten pretty good at telling the different AL guitars apart, but I really don’t know much about the AD’s or maybe what I have is not even an AD!?! But here is my guitar. What is it? How can you tell? What sets the different models apart from each other?

That looks like a an AD 2200 to me. https://www.rondomusic.com/Agile_AD-2200_P90_TVY.html
Very similar to a 2300 but the 2300 had a TOM bridge. Both are flat tops. AD 2500 and 2800 were carved top doublecuts, and now there is an AD 3200 which is a carved top/neck thru/carved heel.
And don't forget the AD-201 which was the singlecut flat-top. And all the others I'm probably forgetting.
Edit - and the somewhat controversial AD-2250 reincarnated https://www.rondomusic.com/Agile_AD-2250_2TS.html

Yes they are. Makes me sad. You can still find good deals used though.LightWingStudios wrote: ↑Wed Jun 10, 2020 6:58 pm BTW, Rondo prices on their Agile are "getting up there".

I think he's still got some very reasonable pricing on the Hadean and SX stuff, but yes - Agile pricing is definitely heading up. It's no surprise though, he's publicly mentioned the costs in SKorea have risen substantially. Even with the increases I think he's still got a pretty nice product for the money even with Agile. Look at how much Epiphones have gone up in the past year, and that's even after moving almost all production to China.LightWingStudios wrote: ↑Wed Jun 10, 2020 6:58 pm BTW, Rondo prices on their Agile are "getting up there".

I don't quite agree.LightWingStudios wrote: ↑Wed Jun 10, 2020 6:58 pm BTW, Rondo prices on their Agile are "getting up there".
10 years ago, the price of an AL-3100 was $400 (or $480 in 2020 dollars). That was without the maple cap, compound fingerboard and coil split. 3100M were $600! ($720 in 2020 dollars, including case)
An AL-3200 was $550 (or $660 in 2020 dollars), again without the MCC part.
Prices have been remarkably stable, and even with the recent $50 hike, we're better than we were 10 years ago.

I've ever seen on Rondo and probably the best guitar they ever offered (IMO). Still have that one in the
stable to this day and is my "go to" guitar for recording "Classic Rock" stuff.

You got a good deal - but that wasn't the regular price on such a guitar. There were blowouts and sales every once in a while.LightWingStudios wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2020 11:00 am 10 years ago I paid $350 for an AD-3100 Tribal Blue Quilt Maple top WITH case and shipped. Best value

If you're patient, you can still find sales on Rondo.
