You can fast forward to 2:30 or so right when the piano solo kicks in. There is a guitar on a stand next to the or behind the piano that looks like an SX SJM. I doubt it is but someone here may know what it is. I know I have seen a few pointy horn guitars but cannot recall the brand.

Looks like an SX SJM as you say, although the lower and upper left corners of the pickguard are more rounded than the ones in the picture below, and the pickups in the one in the video seem to be at an angle, whereas in the pic they are not.

So, it looks like, but I´m not sure...

It could theoretically be an SX Liquid or some similar model, though given the context, which is a bunch mature pros, my money would be on it being a Fender Jazzmaster, or maybe some cork sniffy custom version of that.

It's hard to be sure but it looks like there's a slight dark outline around the pickups which to me would indicate Jazzmaster pickups, not P90s which are what the SJMs and most of the Liquids came with (some Liquids had humbuckers)...

I am thinking Slivertone (Sears - because of where the top horn meets the neck)) or a Fender Jazzmaster. It doesn't have the 'shark fin' bottom - the one pictured is rounded.

Yes, there was as surplus of talent on that stage. Jack Pearson is a guitar god and he often is playing a $150 stock Squier Strat.

I am a big Genesis fan (before 'Invisible Touch') - that is pretty cool! I am more of a Squire Affinity person myself and like my 2016 Orange Strat more than my 1996 Fender American Standard.

looks like two slanted pickups if I enlarge the pic and look at it sideways.
I think that makes it non SX SJM

I think I agree that it is not a Rondo product. I remember years back seeing a pointy horn guitar that a famous blues player was known to play. I keep wanting to think it was an Ernie Ball model but I cannot confirm that with my innerweb research. They were always in MF catalog that I would get in the mail.

FWIW, my SJM does not have slanted pickups (P90s)...

You're probably thinking of the Albert Lee Ernie Ball Music Man signature model. Already thought of that. One of the most ugly production guitars ever, in my opinion. It's definitely not that.

That is the one I was thinking about. I knew someone would recognize it by my description.

I'm sure it has a lovely personality. :)
