FYI, Music Maker Foundation supports roots musicians from Appalachia to New Orleans. Folks like Derek Trucks and Kenny Wayne Shepard are on the board of directors.
The help provided can be as simple as covering a late heating bill, transportation to med. appointments, or a new instrument, so musicians can keep gigging for income.
