Well, this is my second NGD post.
Ed @Mossman and I have become good friends. Most of you know that he has been living in a van for some time now, and that he would be leaving California, and that he couldn´t take all his guitars with him, so he offered to send me one of his guitars, one that he built - the Sunking; there´s a thread here about it -.
Unfortunately, as I am AGF´s poor cousin - according to the "guitar and gear buyers scale" -, I couldn´t afford to ship it here, so he went the extra mile and also covered it - for those wondering, it was $52 to my door -, so that´s how I´m presenting you this NGD thread - he also sent an audio interface he wasn´t using, so I could hook my Zoom multi effects to the PC and record; read about the Zoom below -.
I received it two days ago, but still have to put strings on it, so I haven´t tried it yet, but Ed says it sounds great. I do like it. And it has 22 frets! Again, thanks so much, Ed!
I haven´t forgotten, pics or it didn´t happen. Here she is with her cousin AL - my first NGD, thanks to @tobijohn -.
Also, another generous AGFer and good friend sent me some other gifts a couple of months ago: two guitar stands - the ones in the pictures -, switchs and pots and some tools and other guitar goodies for my rewiring project on the Agile - and also other unvaluable gifts, but they don´t beloong to this thread -. Also, his Agile AL3200 got broken and he also sent me most of the hardware - he only kept the pickups -, so I put them in my AL3000. Now it finally has a pickguard! Yes, I´m one of those who like pickguards on LPs
I have always wondered, why is it that well grown up guys - I´m talking about we AGFers - feel so excited and happy when it comes to guitars and gear, like kids when they´re given toys? I´m 55, and sometimes I wonder, what´s all this joy for guitars and guitar parts? But well, the good thing is that I´m not alone about it here in the forum, so I don´t get to feel like I´m a weirdo!
I should also mention a NGearD about a Zoom G3xn - pre owned - that was also possible for me to have thanks to other AGFers - I got it last year -.
So, these are welcomed oasis in my desert. Thanks so much to all of you that have made it possible, every time .

This is truly an AGF moment. Congrats @sabasgr68 and thanks @Mossman
One of the very first things I remember about this forum not long after joining: I had just purchased my first guitar in years ( AL 3000m ) and a Fender Mustang 1 amp. There was a thread going on about adding an external speaker jacks to the Mustang - it was one of the first mainstream modeling amps that was pretty affordable, but the stock speaker is small and not the greatest. I asked a question about how I might go about making the mod myself, and @mickey asked me what my address was in a PM. I had no idea who we was but a few days later an envelope showed up at my house with a switchcraft jack and instructions on how to install it. Things like that and this gift my Mossman make you realize that this is really not just another internet forum. There have been many examples of this - Anyone remember when @JeffBeck facilitated the sale of all of Felix' guitars when he passed away to help his wife? Or when we all pitched in to help Harpmaster get his furnace replaced?
Good still does exist in the world, even here on the internet.

I didn´t know about your story with Mickey and the jack, but, even though the sale of the late Felix´s guitars happened before I joined, I knew about that story, and it was great, as well as Harpmaster´s - I knew about this last one, I was already here -. And, of course, I know about my own stories here; I have several.
So, yes, good, and good people, exist - and will always do - in the world, and AGF is a good example of that.

Oh yes, Ken, you´ve said it in the best way!
I´m just trying to get used to the middle pickup. But definitely there are certain sounds that you can´t obtain from a LP style guitar and can do with a Strat and SC pickups.

Position 4 is my favorite (neck and Middle)...creamy and noise cancelling...when I can play clean, then the neck is the bomb.
