Thanks for sharing! I was following you but couldn't find anything the other day. I think I'd mentioned in the past that I'm thinking of trying to retire early in SE Asia. My country of choice would likely by the Philippines because of my wife, but if I can get hired by a Uni in Thailand, I'd be tempted to live there for at least a year.

Depending on what you want to teach, Uni job certainly possible. Salaries are not the greatest but many Uni teachers more than make up for it with tutoring fees after school and the Uni schedule usually is not a lot of days/hours per week. I'm still planning to get to SE Asia. Maybe 2024. Been sidetracked by various things (the covid pandemic, executorship of my mother's estate, stock market decline), but I'm definitely going to try to start travelling soon.
