I brought this over here because it was posted on the old site pretty near the end.

For various reasons, I hadn't been playing much and I hadn't recorded anything at all for over 3 years. I was getting pretty down about it, and last summer I got myself a new laptop to start putting together a new recording setup in the recently-uncluttered Guitar Room.
I got a new Focusrite interface, upgraded to EZ-drummer 2, and set about the task of getting the bloatware off of the new HP laptop so all the computer's resources wouldn't be taken up.
Anyway, after re-mixing a few old songs for practice, I finally was ready to see what a new recording would sound like on this rig. So here it is - a minute and a half long song by Guided By Voices. As usual, I do everything on it.

OK, it's not TOTALLY uncluttered... Working on it.
Oh, I used the SG, the Guild S-200 T-Bird, 2004 Strat, and my Fender Mustang Bass.

Thanks! I didn't write it. It's a Guided By Voices cover. But the main guy/singer/songwriter of GBV definitely loves The Who. In fact, I'd love to hear The Who cover some of GBV's stuff. Like this:
