Been back in the hospital again and haven't been on here in a couple of weeks. Doc says he don't think I'm going to be around much longer so on my good days I'm going to do what I want and not going to worry about anything just enjoy myself. This place always puts a smile on my face an hope to be on here often.
Anyway I'm glad to be back.
I'm back again

I am sometimes disparaged for saying so, but I can't see it any other way than this. From the time we reach adulthood, we each begin falling apart in our own individual ways. It is an aspect of life that sucks, but it is unavoidable. I am sorry to hear anyone going through the hardships. As you suggest, what we can do about it is make the best of things when we can. I admire that intent and I try to do some of the same.

Welcome back Redman. I feel a connection to this place too, there are good people here and I hope you can find some solace and enjoyment in the company you find. Anything we could do to help?

I'm so sorry. I hope you have lots of good days left and more stories to tell. And remember nothing is done until it is.
And drs are not nearly as smart as they think they are. It's always good for all of us to be reminded to be greatful for what we have. Someone else was just reminding me of that tonight. 2 in 4 hours maybe means something.
Take care and keep in touch here

Thanks guys I finally got a day off today no nurse or respiratory therapist or physical therapist and I'm feeling good so my granddaughter is coming to take me to the store I'll have to use a mallcart but first time out and about for weeks. Yesterday one of my picking buddies came by and we played a few still no stamina but was able to play about 45 minutes.
I really appreciate all of you we may be small but you guys make up the greatest guitar forum on the net. As far as me I'm getting stronger and better everyday as @nomadh said doctors don't know everything so I've decided to wait until God says it's time.

He´s the only one who knows. I´m so glad you´re feeling better and got to play with your buddy, and even going out with your granddaughter. We´re here for you, man. Cheers!redman wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 9:17 am Thanks guys I finally got a day off today no nurse or respiratory therapist or physical therapist and I'm feeling good so my granddaughter is coming to take me to the store I'll have to use a mallcart but first time out and about for weeks. Sorry to hear about your health problems, Randy, but I'm glad you're back and feeling better. Just about everybody I've known who has gotten an expiration date from a doctor has lived well beyond their prognosis. You're in my prayers.redman wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 9:17 am Thanks guys I finally got a day off today no nurse or respiratory therapist or physical therapist and I'm feeling good so my granddaughter is coming to take me to the store I'll have to use a mallcart but first time out and about for weeks.
