I got one in spite of my better judgement. I always give guitars away so I'll try to make this a decent player and give it to a friend or family member eventually. i think i've spent more than that on gas and i don't even drive a big car.

Nice. Could be great for the money. Now we'll all get to find out.
I've found my "better judgement" can easily be as dumb as the rest of my tendencies.
I'm counting on "lucky".

I recently bought the Indio DLX ash tele toploader ($139), the Indio OS20 ($142), and the Indio Retro tele ($75). The Retro is Bullet territory. I asked for a refund and was just told to keep it.
The ash DLX and OS20 are ridiculous values. The DLX was purchased for a Bigsby which came out better than I could have imagined. I'd park that in CV equivalent only because of the budget electronics. It feels MIM. Better neck than the Fender tele I had, rounded shoulders and great fret ends. All Wilkinson spec parts/pickups. All I added was the drop in cutaway Fender bridge for the Bigsby clearance and added needle bearings to the Bigsby. The OS20 offset is equally as good. I'm not too knowledgable on budget strat trems, but i havent gotten to setting it up yet. Same rounded shoulders, good profile, nut on the neck. Strat pickups sound great. The HB is too overwound.
I feel like i stole these. The OS was $115 last i looked. Geez.

I'm gonna assemble an ash tele out of parts I have for a friend. He wants ash, tort guard, and rw neck. Lo and behold Monoprice had that very guitar in the DLX line. I almost bought it for him. He wouldnt have been disappointed.
Excuse the drifting off topic again , honyock recently posted a link of pickguard suppler he had used . They have copies of the Prince Hohner tele pickguard . Put one of their leopard prints on my Squier and it kind of works from a distance. https://www.ebay.com/itm/133972442053?h ... SwibphxAlhidiotsdelight wrote: ↑Sat Mar 04, 2023 2:55 pmVery nice.
