On the bright side, Little Richard can now have some days off playing piano in heaven's rock and roll band. Plus, with inflation the way it is, job sharing will help the big man upstairs lower overhead costs. He doesn't like paying overtime, which in eternity can be incredibly expensive.

RIP Jerry.
Funny story, back in the day my good friend that was in my band back in the 90's and early 2000's and the band I play in currently, was a huge Jerry Lee Lewis fan when he was a young lad. Hid mom took him to see Jerry perform once. He took an album with him to get Jerry to sign it. Jerry was playing in the back of a pickup truck of all things in a small town in Georgia. My buddy was right up against the truck just waiting. Jerry finished a song, hopped up, jumped over the side of the truck, jumped into a waiting car and was gone in a flash. He was so heartbroken that he did not get to meet him get the autograph. Probably had to go meet his cousin.

GOODNESS GRACIOUS>>>>>>...... He lives! Apparently , news of his death "is greatly exaggerated" .
"'Moments after publishing the story, the outlet took down its story and replaced it with a new article reporting that Lewis was still among the living.
“TMZ regrets the error,” the unbylined story said. But not before a host of national and local outlets ran with the erroneous report, setting off a cascade of “BREAKING” stories that also had to be walked back.
Reached for comment, a rep for Lewis confirmed to CNN, “He’s alive. TMZ reported erroneously off of an anonymous tip.” "

Well, yes & no. You see his death was reported in the media 3 or 4 days prior to his death. Then withdrawn.Partscaster wrote: ↑Sun Oct 30, 2022 9:49 am He lives! Apparently , news of his death "is greatly exaggerated" .

And then he died.

It's like the game where a group of people are in a room and you whisper something in someone's ear but only once. Then they whisper what they thought they heard into someone's else's ear but only once, an so forth until it gets to the last person in the chain and they say out loud what they think they heard. It usually does not resemble the original statement.
He obviously got close to death and so people that knew about it started telling others and the story quickly morphed to him dying. It seems to happen a lot lately.
