The second guitar I picked up yesterday was this Samick Greg Bennett Interceptor IC-2. Aside from corroded strings and an inch of dust it's in near mint condition. I tuned it up and hooked into an amp and everything works! The neck and middle pickup sound pretty good however the bridge pickup sounds great! I'm going to put some new strings on it and give it a set up and see how it goes.
I got this for $80 and thought this might be something nice to check out and possibly flip - but I really like the look of the transparent cherry finish and dig the overall feel of the guitar. It might be a keeper! Much better than the dog LP copy I picked up at the same sale.
Anyone know anything about these models? I've heard the Greg Bennett line was pretty good overall. Here's a few pictures.

They tend to sell between $75 and $100 so there isn't anything here in terms of a flip, but they're decent guitars for the money. As far as the guitar itself, all specs are here:Tiga wrote: ↑Sun Oct 23, 2022 5:47 pm The second guitar I picked up yesterday was this Samick Greg Bennett Interceptor IC-2. The pickups are supposed to be Duncan Designed. That bridge pup may be the Duncan Designed version of the JB called the HB-102, which in my experience sounds better than the real SD JB. They have a similar output and character but the Duncan Designed pup is smoother.
If it's the Duncan Designed HB-103 then it's a version of the SD Distortion, in which case I'd put an A5 or A2 magnet in there.
