@Mickey, Going through my list I don't think so. If that changes, I'll PM you. I like my semi hollow and hollow bodied guitars too much to part with them. Additionally, I don't own that many. Thanks though.

Hey Lefty/Les/JohnWWGP. Took a bit of a hiatus myself due to a new job but welcome back. GLWTS, I know you were in pretty close competition with @tobijohn for NGD's, good luck on making space

Good to hear from you and check in. So sorry to hear about the hip replacement. Very scary surgery. It sounds like it's been horrible. It seems the good replacements are like getting a whole new life and the bad ones just double down or triple the misery. Hope you dont loose too much on the bulk sale. Would youplease take som pictures and post them like old times? Mostly we seem shopped out here but maybe someone here might like to work a deal on 1 or 2.
BTW, how many do you own?

That is wild about the weight and how the character changed. I thought the way the poly sealed the wood it would be eons before it dried much if at all.Lefty4Sale wrote: ↑Sun Apr 03, 2022 9:46 pm Okay, so here's my first discovery, and it was both surprising while at the same time kinda weird and disappointing. The method I'm using for selling off my guitars is to just pick a case randomly, and whatever's in there goes up for sale. The first one I picked was my one and only AL-3200. I purchased it on sale from Rondo in Oct of 2015. Paid 399.99 plus 18.75 shipping. The day it arrived here i went over it with a fine tooth comb. I also weighed it and wrote the weight on the back of the receipt. It weighed in at a hefty 10 1/4 pounds on the dot. The guitar is very striking looking, and that neck thru is just very cool. The problem I had with it from day one is that acoustically, it was DOA. I've never heard a deader sounding guitar save for a PRS SE which I bought new from Sweetwater.
Something I obviously overlooked on the 3200, and the reason it was 399.99 is now plain as day to the naked eye. The poly finish, which seems like it's 1/4" thick has a single wave that is easily 1/16 to 1/8th of an inch higher than the rest of the poly just under the bridge. I totally missed that on day one. It's glaring now and just pops out. Man, I was very disappointed too spot that. The guitar has sat in an HSC for the better part of 7 years. It's spotless and looks like new outta the box. When I took it out of the case, the first thing I did was weigh it. I was shocked to see that it had lost almost 3/4 of a pound. I had no idea Rondo shipped the Agiles with that much moisture in the wood. At first I thought, uh oh,it's been way too dry in the house, but, that's not the case. The fret ends are as smooth as can be. After weighing it, I tuned it and strummed a bunch of chords. I'll be danged if this guitar doesn't sing like a totally thin nitro finished guitar now. I was shocked at how loud it was acoustically and how long the chords would sing.
So now I'm left with a very pretty guitar, that now weighs way less than it did, and it sings beautifully. I'm going to take a guess here and say it wasn't the thick poly that deadened the guitar, it was the excess moisture in the wood. Amazingly, the neck is perfectly straight and the frets are amazingly well leveled. My problem is, I can't sell it now. The Poly finish flaw just jumps right out at you as the light hits the body. I've been watching the market on Reverb and GC, this would have easily sold for 500 bucks plus shipping if it didn't have this dang flaw. I'm just going to keep it. I'm planning on having the poly totally taken down and converting it into a Matte finish. One of the guys I know from where I use to play a lot is really good at refinishing and he loves to do it. We'll see how that turns out.
I grabbed an AL-2000 in Tiger Eye and an AL-3100MCC with the same finish as the 3200. Those are going up this week or next. Myy deal is simple, if they sell, good. If not, I don't really care. I'd rather have them sitting with someone who's going to give them the love they deserve rather than just sitting is the case.
Yes, another long winded post. Sorry fellas, but that weight difference in the 3200 just blew my mind.
Peace
This is great news
Well as I live and breath… Howdy Brother John!
As fate would have it, I haven’t been on this site since I don’t know when. So today I fired it up and about the first post I saw was this one. Nice to know your head is in a good space, even if you’ve been through the wars physically. Knowing your a Be Here Now kinda guy, I’m sure you will make the best of any situation.
Selling off the herd can be daunting, but there is a time and a place for everything.
As for me, I’m doing well and playing occasionally - mostly acoustic though I did keep a Nitro body Tele, a Fender Super Champ X2 and a Harley Benton 12” speaker cab.
Stay cool and remember what they say - “Easy does it, but do it.”
