These are now priced at almost twice this new. If i didn't already have two of them and no need to find a home for a set of Tele pickups, I'd have bought it myself. I don't think the newer ones have the Tonerider pickups anymore but still a crazy good deal:

pine body , thats nice.
"The man that hath no music in himself, nor is not moved with concord of sweet sounds, is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils. The motions of his spirit are dull as night, and his affections dark as Erebus. Let no such man be trusted."
Potentially great deal, I paid $60 more for mine from Amazon last year, same type deal except this one says "LARGE IMPERFECTIONS IN BODY". Mine was in perfect condition, though it did ship in a sketchy box.
However, I will say I like my Harley Benton TE-52 better with its roasted neck and prettier ash body.

I didn't notice that about the imperfections. That being said, it being Amazon, if they turned out to be really egregious, it goes back on their dime...honyock wrote: ↑Wed Jun 01, 2022 9:29 pm great deal, I paid $60 more for mine from Amazon last year, same type deal except this one says "LARGE IMPERFECTRIONS IN BODY". It's hard to justify buying another.
My Indonesian Squier CV is very nice, they just seem to have cheaped out a bit on hardware compared to the MICs. Also this pine is very bland looking. Not much point in a translucent BSB finish.
I will say the weight is a lot nicer on my 2nd one.
After swapping in some graphtech saddles it intonates better.
I am half tempted to route mine for a Nashville style pickup for something different.

My two are both MIC. I'm planning to do the single pickup Esquire treatment on one of them, have all the parts (pickguard and SD Broadcaster pickup) and the wiring schematic, just trying to find the time...honyock wrote: ↑Wed Jun 01, 2022 11:16 pm It's hard to justify buying another.

Yeah, I have too many CV teles (but I'm keeping them all) and they're all MIC. Looking at that one on Amazon, I see they have changed a lot, especially if they no longer have the toneriders. It kinda looks like cousins CV and Affinity got bored, got together, and did something they shouldn't have.
