They just released a new batch of LPs VERY late last night...1AM EST which is 10PM Left Coast Time where they're located.

Had my eye on one their LP Bat models. The Red and Purple Bats sold out in an hour. Gold Top LP w/P-90's too.

Luckily I snagged a "Quilted Blue Bat" for $257 shipped. LOVE the Gold hardware on it!

First pic is off their website and the rest are off a Reverb listing where they're asking $480 shipped for the same guitar. WTF?

Is the very small horn in order to avoid lawsuits from Agile/Kurt? A joke of course.
How does it play and sound?

I have one. Tailpiece is a wee bit off. Maybe 1-2 mm lower on the low E string side. Green Bat is the same. Kept me from grabbing a purple. Never saw the P90 gold tops....wanted the Matte Black which sold out fast. Let me know how your tail piece looks.

So you are getting deep into the blueberry pie it seems. That is a uniquely styled beauty. So much of firefly reminds me of the rondo salad days. Mostly I'm over it now but that V is still tempting me. It's sort of like being old and watching young people fall in love. Sort of bitter sweet. My general impression is firefly is a notch below agile or like sx maybe currently as it climbs up and up the quality scale except for its few well publicized missteps.
Ahhhh youth.
