Loving this guitar Mr. Mickey sent me a little while ago.

Amp is pushed as a I generally have it. Guitar volume is WAY down.

Watch out dude, you might just turn into a guitar fiend.
Nice playing. Nice tone.

I can imagine it! :D It is an awesome guitar! If I didn't have its first cousin (a 6120) I would have never traded it to @Brentona.
Incidentally, that is the FIRST 6122-1959 LEFTY made. I knew the late Paul Yandell who was credited by Gretsch as the designer of the 6122-1959.
Paul was Chet Atkins rhythm player & guitar tech for 25 years & that model is as close a copy as Gretsch could make of Chet's personal 6122 from 1959.
Anyhow, myself & a guy up in Chicago kept bugging Paul to go to Gretsch and find out what it would take to get them to make lefty's of that model.
Paul finally got fed up enough with us until he went to Gretsch about it. They told him if any of their dealers ordered 4 or more they would produce them.
So I phoned Jimmy Duncan (owner of Southpaw guitars in Houston) and he ordered NINE that day. @Brentona's was the first one Jimmy received. :D

You! :D

Seriously, I was trying to document the guitar's history for @Brentona because it might prove useful to him some time in the future should he need to sell the guitar.
FYI: I also knew Paul Yandell's brother Forrest. :D

Hey there, Brother! I was picking on the ole Gretsch yesterday. Good gracious it’s a creamy sound. I love how vocal it is. Pushed amp with a little extra OD on top…I’ll have to grab a little sound bite and drop it in here. I play entirely different when that one is my lap. You say if I want to sell??? I truly can’t foresee a situation in the future where this guitar is anyone’s but mine.
