Payback for all those lawsuit LPs.

They should make a Zoot Suit version -- really ugly it up.

Oh, mercy... I haven't been here in a while and am just seeing this. Fuller's Guitar in Houston, TX has a set of 3 in all 3 colors for $22,500. Someone needs to jump on that, 'cause they won't last long.
I'd say Gibson lost their mind on this one. It was a previously unproduced design from 1957 and it's obvious why it was unproduced.

I actually like it, although I'd never personally pay that much. It's so weird that it's almost normal. And it it's a Gibson and it has P90's so all the rest is kind of secondary.
I also like the audacity from Gibson - they know the haters will be all over it, but it really doesn't matter because people will still buy them. I envision the board room table piled high with cash, with the designer of this "guitar" smoking a cigar sipping on some top shelf scotch and laughing as he watches the internet and reddit crowd go nuclear.

Its a total Tulip.

If gibson was going to do something new I think they should just do this again but do it well. I think it's a very attractive design. This is what they should call the reverse firebird.

HMM... I'm guessing the designer had a psilocybin mushroom salad with a peyote cactus dressing for lunch that day.
