Stayed up until 1:02AM to see SpaceX Starship STACKED for the 1st time...378 feet tall...24 feet TALLER than the Saturn 5!

You can kinda see chipmunks running around the old Apollo landing moon footage...................if you look hard enough.

To the left is the Tank Farm with various chemicals that when combined give you "All The Fire And Brimstone"" we've come to love.

BTW, the Booster has up to 39 RAPTOR Engines that fire up at liftoff!

As far as "the locals" go, Starbase is in Texas so I suppose ANYTHING can happen.

SpaceX Has started construction of a new launch site here at KSC on the Space Coast in FL tho I expect it will be close to 2 years before that is up and running. Maybe sooner with all the lessons learned from the current site.

The little toy rockets that can shoot upward 100-200 ft? Something like that. They have all kinds of models to choose from. Some parachute back down. You can get on amazon. One of my brothers liked them when a kid. They might be 10 inches to a couple of feet tall, and I think some would use a stiff wire stuck in ground to act as a guide during takeoff. Very sophisticated.

I remember a kid at a golf course at night stuffing a ski pole shaft with...????...and lighting it up. It didnt explode, luckily, ...it went up in a quick hiss and was gone for some seconds, til it nose dived right straight down into the fareway about 100 ft away. Someone touched it, and it burned their hand. Darwin award material.
