My latest obsession is The Cult, early albums - with Rain, Sanctuary, Fire Woman, Love Removal, Sweet Soul Sister, Sun King. Loved it on general principles way back when, am appreciating it even more now for the guitar playing. OK - And the bass, oh - and the drums. And the singing....

"The man that hath no music in himself, nor is not moved with concord of sweet sounds, is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils. The motions of his spirit are dull as night, and his affections dark as Erebus. Let no such man be trusted."
Listening to this today, found out a mysterious flesh eating bacteria wasted away his upper arms and had to quit performing a couple years ago. Great Texas blues with some detours into rock. Saw him live several times in OKC.
