I was very busy for about 7 years working my indie music promotion business, and was stuck in Facebook land. I had closed my business at the end of 2019, just before Covid hit. The last few years I have been focusing on playing and recording more. This place has always seemed like home to me. So great to see some familiar faces still here.

I got your PM, and thanks for update on AGF. I want to answer, but I guess because I am new I don’t have permissions to answer or send PMs. I am so glad you were able to save the site!mickey wrote:Or perhaps 1024 of them? lauramarie1024
Welcome home friend.
Whoa! "I" didn't take any credit for saving AGF! But gave full credit to Patrick!!!lauramarie1024 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 3:08 pmI got your PM, and thanks for update on AGF. Welcome home friend.
I think you will need to look at your options, settings.
I wasn't aware any member couldn't send PM's but knew you could set options to refuse them.
Click on your user ID on the top right to get a drop down menu to start the process.
EDIT:
Going back and reading the FAQ's, you can't turn on/off your ability to send PM's, only the receive side.
The default is ON and Patrick would have to manually set it to off.
So, may I suggest to try again to reply to the PM? Something might have hiccupped at the wrong moment???

So use to Facebook and just being able to comment on a post.mickey wrote:Whoa! "I" didn't take any credit for saving AGF! Well then, welcome back.
Nice to see an acoustic, my favorites since I began playing in 1957.
