We Were "SOLD OUT" 8 MONTHS AGO!
I'm with you, man... This isn't about revenge... Revenge never makes you feel better. This is about preventing them from doing this to other people. Data mining is one of the most despicable practices out there, and I'm not satisfied to let them move on to their next group of victims. These people don't seem to know what they're doing, but they're going to learn from their mistakes if they're left to continue. I've said it before, and I'll say it again... We should shine as much light on them as possible, so that nobody will want to use their platform, and their reputation will precede them wherever they go.
Finally escaping the People's Republic of Kalifornia!

I was finally banned from the old place too.
I think they realised that in leaving it open they were giving us the easiest way of galvanising as many as possible to this new home.

Major Tom. So sorry things had to go this way. Personally I'm still hurting that I've been seperated from my online history, my post count, my likes. Friends that may not make their way back. I assume soon it will all be gone here. I can't imagine what tempted you to try and do things this way. No warning. No consulting mods. My assumption was we would all meet up at another forum. There are lots I already go to. But we both underestimated the strength of this online family and we are still together. I just wanted to put this out there that maybe our board would pay some money to regain our system here. Maybe we could have the moderators to control it but you could be paid for some future ad revenue or a lump sum we collect. If Jeff owns it now maybe pass this on to him. Its probably the only value left in it.
Thanks

Why would they want to do that?

NO! We've moved on from those bastids! I'd give them $50 for the exclusive rights to the DB and the transfer of the .COM domain to me.nomadh wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 11:04 am I wrote this on the .com forum

Cheap investment to see if we could migrate some of old content over here in an "AGF Archive" Sub Forum.
And btw, THERE WILL BE NO ADS on this board.

MOMO owns it now, Jeff C hasn't been involved or on the site since he turned it over to Major Tom in 2016. What the value of the database is peanuts compared to what they've already apparently wasted in both time and money on MOMO so I doubt they'd be a "motivated" seller...nomadh wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 11:04 am I wrote this on the .com forum
