I'm wanting to add a small mixer to my sitting here with nothing else to do rig I could score a Behringer Xeynx 1202FX it has built in FX and Behringer is usually decent gear but not built very rugged I could also get a Mackie Mix8 8 Channel Mixer but I lose FX and that would be nice for some things. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail ... pact-mixer then I found this https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=625911

Any one had any experience with any of these or any other sugestions 4 to12 channels

I've used (and still do) a few Mackie 1402 and larger mixers and also had the Behringer Xeynx. The Behringer was noisy. The Mackies always sounded like you want them to - as if they're not there at all unless you want them to add something. Nice clean transparent operation.

I'd buy from Sweetwater any day vs Monoprice!
I presently have a Yamaha mixer which I have found to be excellent bang for the buck.
Bought it used off CL.
