I got them already installed in the 3200MCC I bought. They do reasonable well tuning down a half step and a whole step from Standard E. I'm thinking of experimenting with the height of the polescrews. Duncans are surely better, but these aren't all that bad.

Found a video demo of them that showcases downtuning:

I'm talking to myself here but if these use ceramic magnets then the specs aren't that far off from Ibanez Super 70s. Maybe a slightly hotter bridge pickup but the neck would be spot on. I'm finding I like them a bit more after height adjustment.

Sounds like 'Super-80s (Flying Fingers), which were Super 70s with ceramic instead of A8 magnets. They sounded pretty good.

According to this the 70s were ceramic after 1980. But given the specs the Super 80s wouldn't be that far off either. But yeah, something like that.

I've had a set of them waiting to go into an Eastwood McGeoch 1000 (Yamaha SG copy) for the last couple years. I'm not familiar with those Ibanez pickups but I'm going to assume that they're desirable...

Both Super 70s and Super 80s are sought after and sell for at least as much as a new set of Duncans would last I checked. They're decent, but I'd rather have a Duncan set at those prices.

Which set of Duncans would you prefer?

There are so many great sets of Duncans. My personal favorites are:
  • Saturday Night Special
  • Jupiter
  • Jazz Neck/Custom 78 Bridge
