Ok...not sure I have ever seen any LP Deluxe clones sporting mini-hums....anyone have any ideas vs paying full Gibson pricing (not an option at this time  )

I'm pretty sure there were some agile Al's that came with Mini hums over the years, although probably few and far between.

Depending on your price range, Gibson did make the studio tribute ( satin finish ) with min-hums too, but still probably close to a grand if you can find one these days.

P90 routes are just slightly smaller than true mini hum routes too, so while you can swap P90's into an MH route, it doesn't always work in reverse. One thought is to find any clone with P90's and swap in some MH's with a little dremel work.

The 70s Tributes had some very good mini hums and my favorite neck profile of the Tribute series. Had them in my SG 70s Tribute and my Firebird Studio 70s Tribute.

For a while Manchester Music had some pretty good deals on the NOS Gibson stuff put out in like 2013, but those seem to have dried up.

I got my SG from Sam Ash as an NOS, but the Silverburst was very much down the list of finishes I like so I sold it.

This ^

That's what I did to get my Agile (front row 3rd from left).

My favorite Gibson all time is the 60's Tribute with P90's. So when I wanted a Deluxe I got another Tribute and installed mini hums. They use the same route. The Tributes could be had back then for about 800 and with the pups I had 1000 in it. That was less than half what a nice vintage Deluxe was going for. I tried the 70's Tribute with mini hums that Scott mentioned but did not like the neck profile. I love the 60's profile.

This is a great point - those studio tributes came in 50s/60's and 70's profile and they vary widely. I tend to prefer the thick 50's rounded, where the 60's is generally pretty slim and the 70's kind of in the middle and flatter. Like most gibsons they can even vary from guitar to guitar in the same model pretty widely.

If you were interested in going that route, one place to keep an eye on is the Stratosphere seller on reverb. They part out Gibsons/Fenders/etc but occasionally you will see tribute bodies that must be NOS or old inventory.
