Been a little out of touch on the forum, a lot going on. I haven't picked up any new guitars in some time and have been hovering at a little over a dozen for a while. With all the bases covered, I have realized which ones I go to and which ones just don't get played. I'm starting the simplification process and purging out several of them and picked up a bucket list guitar.
It's a 01 PRS Mccarty 10 top soapbar, and it really is next level. I read some mixed reviews about the duncan p90s that came out in these, so I expected to maybe swap out pickups but so far I'm digging them. This is an amazing guitar in every aspect, and it also reminds me of just how good the WMI prs guitars are as well. My Zach Myers model holds it's own with the Mccarty and proves to be a top tier instrument as well, especially after a couple of minor tweaks.

That is a beauty, and good to see you again too! I had a 594 soapbar for a while which is pretty close to that and agree that PRS guitars are on a level of quality/finish that few can match.
