Jon Way is like the Bob Ross of guitars. So relaxed and soothing.

Blast from the past. Glad to see he's still around. I've been curious about those Chris Walsh guitars, but this demo doesn't tell me much. I always thought they looked great, but I find it worrisome that I have never seen anyone in any forum raving about their tone and playability.

Asking anybody who might know the answer: Is it true that Jon Way was a member of the old AGF forum? I could swear I remember reading that.

Starting at sound check tonight, and every night from here on, I'm going to start playing that guitar riff that opens up every Jon Way video. Taking bets on how long until somebody recognizes it and says something. I'm guessing it won't be long, as he has over 250K YouTube subscribers and was probably the first introduction to Agile for a lot of people. That's exactly how I first heard him.

Not that I am aware. But he could have been here and left before I arrived? :)

Well, "if we start at the top", we can have a list of all members in the site from day one, but since it has undergone some owner changes and missing info, I don´t believe the whole members list through time can be achievable in any way. :)

I only have ten years here, but I don´t remember him being a member, not by "Jon way", at least.

My bet: in the 19th day you´ll hear the first yell (that´s 11/26/2021). 8-)

I seem to recall once after joking in the old forum about Jon Way's review style "and this is the tone knob"...that a member under a different name got very upset with me and insinuated that Jon may be a member of the forum under an assumed name and I was being disrespectful of his reviews. I forget who that was however.

Well, who knows?

I actually like his style of presenting and describing the guitars.

Actually, I just checked & he has 2.55k subscribers. There's a considerable difference between 255,000 and 2,550. :D

That could actually make a difference. But chances are there! Let´s wait to hear from the cat man! :)

I have been playing it, but alas, nobody has recognized it yet. Maybe it's because I'm not using that heavy chorus effect. I don't even have a chorus pedal on my board.

But the good news @sabasgr68 is that you have two more chances for somebody to recognize it tonight. I've got a gig in Newton NC from 5-8 PM, then I have to pack up and haul a** down the interstate to Winston-Salem NC to play at a place called Earl's from 9:30 -12:30. Google is telling me it's about an hour and ten minutes drive door to door, so it's going to be tight. I'll be lucky if I'm home by 3AM. Gonna be one of those nights. Then I get to do it all again Saturday night. Yeah! :P

I'll report back tomorrow.

Haha! Yeah, baby, I´m still firm on my bet! Two chances today gives me some air! Will wait for your report :) :)

PS: BTW, Do you sleep well during the day? Back when I used to work the night shift I had it hard to get a good rest in the day, I could barely make 3-4 hours of sleep. The night shift week was like hell, really.
