. . . and the cats can go on keeping their half.
Which would would leave me with exactly zero share.
Hey, I never claimed to be a business man, though I am a sucker for cats, and that goes double for "tush."
I'D SPLIT MY EARNINGS 50/50 WITH THIS LADY IF SHE'D DANCE AT EVERY GIG . . .

A friend's local band is good but with low audience.
My advice was to pay a few attractive young women and, just like honey and bees go together, male audience would appear out of nowhere!
Always to have some moving booty shaking in the audience, warms up the room, makes bartender happy.

The other farm cats didn’t super love him but the chickens thought he was alright so he became a chicken.

I always love the solid gold dancers. You guys were able to spread out wide at that venue. So many venues have a postage stamp for a stage or a stage area. BTW , sounds great!

Thanks. For that gig we were set up in the bar area of a hotel lobby. Not actually a stage, but we had a good long expanse of wall to spread out against. Now the previous Saturday night we were on one of those "postage stamp" stages.

You do have to be careful nowadays, but I don't think so in this case. I got a good look at the hands, which along with several other biometrics are pretty reliable indicators.

That guitar does have the Jazzmaster profile, but it is a unique instrument. It's an Elliott Tonemaster. Alder Jazzmaster style body. Tele style bridge with brass barrels and string through body. The pickups are really P-90s under what look like Jazzmaster covers. It has the switch for the secondary tone circuit, just like the Fender Jazzmaster.
It's an amazing guitar, though I don't play it often for a couple reasons. While it has a fantastic tone, it's not the Les Paul or Strat sound that I find most useful. I'm also afraid of hurting it. I've thought of selling it, but the fact that I waited nearly two years for this one, and the idea that I'll probably never own another gives me pause. If somebody made me an offer I couldn't refuse, say for instance a straight up trade with a Gibson R8 or R9, I'd part with it, but for now I'll hang on to it.
