Fatjack was a real good dude, from all I remember. I mentioned this issue about forum members ill or not doing well in my last endorserment video, to make an effort to have a backup plan to notify community members. Some communities it seems to matter much more than others, this is one of them.

FatJack will be missed. If I recall correctly, I believe he once mentioned that he grew up in the 60s not far from where I live in North Carolina, but had relocated to the South Carolina coast. Anybody else here remember anything about him?

It occurred to me but I was afraid it might seem a little insensitive, picking through a dead guy's stuff. As I mentioned above, I told the seller to contact me if I could be of any help. If he does, I'll mention it here...
Let them know that something may he worth a few bucks more to some of us here. Just to let us know so we can bid if we wanted. It just keeps feeling like I'm in the movie final destination sometime. I see everyone getting picked off around me and you feel it. I'm looking to retire soon because time is just feeling short.

FYI, links to a few more of Larry's guitars:

Agile HSB AL-2500 :

KONA K2LTSB Left Handed ACOUSITC GUITAR

IBANEZ AS83L-VLS Left Handed ELECTRIC GUITAR
https://www.ebay.com/itm/334139323225

There are five more that still need to be listed (as well as some amps, maybe some pedals). Root Beer flame AL-3010se, 2TS AD-201, dark cherry Epi G-400 Pro, SX 3TS Liquid SJM and SX natural ash Tele,. All have cases and all appear to be in mint condition. The family member who is listing Fatjack's guitars emailed me some pics that I'll be posting in the next few days and I could use some help with identifying the SX Tele, so that I can help him with pricing, thanks

With help from @BatUtilityBelt , I was able to identify the Tele as a Taurus (having completely forgotten that I have one myself). I sent the below info on and left the pricing research up to the family member. FWIW, the AS83 sold for $500:

If I didn't already have all of them, I might have reached for mine... ;)

If I didn't finally get a Jaguar, I'd probably take a swing at SJM #3...

If it's in great shape, I may go for the SJM (none of my Liquids are 2 P90).

For the first lot, he emailed me the listings once he put them up on eBay but I'd be happy to contact him for more info on the condition of the SJM or I could simply give you his email address and you can contact him directly before it's listed. Send me a PM if that sounds like something you'd like to do...

None of the guitars will work for me. Hopefully the amps aren't left handed as well.

I believe I'm making a deal for Larry's AL-3010SE. Crossing my fingers that the broken switch tip is the only problem it has. That's an easy part swap and small solder job. I like the look, and knowing it came from a forum friend. It would be my first experience with a 3010. I imagine it's pretty similar to my 3001, but minus the SS frets.

They all did unless you upgraded to the Faber lefty for $40 on the last batch offered (still available through Rondo for around $80). However, I was actually able to get mine intonated properly except for the G string but that was off by only a few degrees ((about 3, IIRC) which was good enough for my ear...

I got my AD-201 with the Faber bridge, Rondo sent me it with a righty bridge on accident then sent me a lefty and told me to keep the righty, which I sold to cover the upcharge.

In hindsight, I'd probably just have bought a ~$15 bridge from Amazon with individual saddles like I bought for my Harley Benton SG Jr.

That's the style I now use for all my wraparound guitars that need a different bridge. The advantage to this one (other than the lower cost) is that is thinner than those cheap baddass types. Almost a;; the problems I have that come with that style bridge is that the action can not be lowered enough. With the type above and the locking studs from Philadelphia Luthiers, that issue is eliminated...

Very glad I went with the Faber on mine. I figured the guitar was so inexpensive for what it was that the upgrade was an easy choice. Of my 3 AD-201s, only one lacks the Faber, and it sounds great playing punk. :D

I have not been on here so much lately. I just saw this post. Man, that is really sad news. I remember him and he always seemed like a nice guy. Seems like it has been a bad year as far as members passing away. RIP

Very sad when we lose an AGF memeber.
