We should keep creating new AGF’s, sell the new forum to the next digital land grabber, migrate immediately, split the profits, create a new forum and repeat!

Brilliant...we’ll become digital profiteering nomads specializing in guitar forum real estate sales!

That’s it and this is going to sound so wrong but it’s been a theory of mine. This was premeditated. And it all goes back to some photos of the factory on korea where agile guitars were made. We talked about Them around the forum and how crazy some of the photos were. In one, A guy was working hard on some guitars with a cigarette in his mouth. Someone called him a little Korean chain smoker. That was jae’s dad. And he’s wanted revenge ever since. It all makes so much sense now 😋

I think the problem was how much his mother smoked while she was pregnant with him. That and he was probably conceived anally.

Why would this guy be posting a link to Rondo's site on Reddit?

watch them buy out enthused or something. I wonder what the cumulative value of that network of site might be worth
if Aguitarforum was "valued" at 30K

It's like a digital land grab. Patrick is probably already fielding offers :o

we should remain on the lookout is similar gear forums assimilations are attempted and recruit them - The Borg must be stopped!
Well it does mean that almost any forum could be up for grabs and should have an emergency meeting spot and own a well known alternate domain name. Given that, it would truly be in the public interest to do a warning PSA on other boards.

Hey...

Interesting how Mr. Momo studied at a a private (upmarket?) school in France, at some point. the Ecole Speciale d' Architecture, Paris.
And the place has a side business of grooming startups, it seems.

It's all the stats that matter. How many registered users, how many unique users, number of threads, number of posts, number of guests. The higher the numbers, the more you can sell ads for. If you fudge the numbers it makes it appear your site is doing great and advertisers will flock to you. Then you can sell the place for a lot more than you bought it.

Just like all those so called users whom have never posted but appear to be in private PM's with each other, they are fake.

No possible way there are 12,000 members. Most people would find it through Google search, so you would go read the article or thread on 3100MCC, you dont have to become a member to do that.

Look at the dates on these too, it shows back a few months momo was already in charge. These are both taken from the bottom of the web page. Your private PM's are not private. They are read and used for info.

Ok, someone PM me and explain who owns this site and the Reader's Digest version of what happened. All I know is I got a emails and texts about coming here and rejoining the fold. I do not understand all the innerweb jockeying. If you send a PM post that you did so I don't get too many accounts.

Thanks much fellows and, if there are any, gals.

If you lookup the wiki for those, you find it is a huge Chinese internet conglomerate, started in 2011. Given that, it is amazing they cant design a workable forum. Data mining, however, does show up as one of their specialties.
What I don't understand is if they have such deep pockets, what's the appeal of a tiny site like AGF?
