These are OUTSTANDING guitars, one of my favorites from Agile. The price is certainly not a steal, but given that these aren't made anymore (and this is the pricier one with Fishman Fluence pickups that's like $600 new) not awful at under $500 shipped.
Some killer specs on this model including a roasted maple neck and board, stainless frets, coil tap, etc. I have one that I scored for $300 and it is one of my favorite Agiles of all time...they rarely come up for sale used so if someone's looking for a killer shredder you'd be hard pressed to do better than this for the $

Oh this is no Agile LP haha, not even close. It has an alder body and is pretty lightweight, I've never weighed it but I highly doubt it is anywhere north of 7 lbs.

- Gearlist: A few LP's, a Strat, a Tele and a few acoustics.
They weren't around for long but I do remember them. They came in white, flat black, blue and somewhat of an avacado-is green, which Is what I think @slowhand84 had or has?

They've had several iterations of this Epic model, the first generation had Agile stock pickups, the latest generation had Fishman Fluence pickups, and there were also a couple of 7 strings as well with extended scale:

I have a first generation green one (I call it the watermelon...green finish with basically pink binding!) and the exact same most recent one that I posted here from GC. Really really terrific guitars...think I paid $190 shipped for the greenie and just over $300 for the white one. Easily on par with guitars I've had and played in the $1000 range.

Yeah haha, definitely prefer the look of my white one but for $190 I’m not gonna complain. You’d probably have to spend a grand with most other manufacturers to get a guitar this good.mighty_duck wrote: ↑Wed Aug 25, 2021 11:38 pmIf only the green epic wasn't so...well.. green.slowhand84 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 25, 2021 4:51 pm I have a first generation green one (I call it the watermelon...green finish with basically pink binding!) and the exact same most recent one that I posted here from GC. Yeah this is basically Agile's version of an Ibanez RG, except better in many ways

I hear you, there are certain styles of guitar I just have no interest in regardless of how great the instrument is. Luckily Agile offers lots of choices!Mossman wrote: ↑Thu Aug 26, 2021 9:32 pmYeah, sounds like it's a great guitar, it's just not my style.slowhand84 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 26, 2021 12:00 pm
