I'm not talking about Peter Green songs here, or even the Bob Welch era. I'm referring to after Lindsey and Stevie joined, when they started writing songs about witches, and all the destructive/creative sex energy was introduced into the mix. I didn't realize that playing those tunes can drive females in the audience into a bacchanalian frenzy. I witnessed this phenomenon first hand last night when I played a gig with yet another band I've been asked to join. This is going to be a fun job.

I still put Rumors on from time to time but is it truly a great album or a childhood memory? Does it matter why?

I can't answer why women are so affected by FM's music but I do know even without music how one of the ladies in the band affects me and millions of guys like me.

From what I've seen it's true. FM is afrodesiac magic amongst all us mortals. Dunno if it relates to the fact that if you map all the relationships that happened between band members, it forms a pentagram. But yes, Stevie was definitely a sex witch, no doubt.
I'll say this much John, you've got that 80s Southern Rock look down cold...
