David Gilmour has said he will never play this song again because Rick Wright is no longer with us.

'Tis a fitting tribute that "Echos" thru our lives and thru time forever.

Wright seemed like such a good guy. I too may be partial to Pompei. I will say I really love his less known PF song called Paint Box.

That's awesome. Meddle is one of my favorite Pink Floyd albums. Sometimes I like it better than their later albums.

When I saw Gilmour at Radio City Music Hall with Wright, when they broke out Echoes, and I realized they were going to play the whole damn thing, that’s the closest I’ve come to crying out of sheer joy during a concert.

My older sister did a chalk pastel picture of " wish you were here " album cover and had it hanging on her wall.
I can remember the "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" song on 8-track how it switched during parts of the song, they had to break it up, got it pieced in between other songs.
