Sabas , I ordered 2 sets last year one for myself and one for a friend. i got mine on ebay. I ordered 1 set Muslady and 1 set Guitaria just to see if there was any differences before I gave away one of the sets and bought them from 2 different sellers. Well they both came in the same day, both sets exactly alike and made by the same manufacturer. Just different names. But I do like these little wireless gizmos and they work very well.

I bought a set & it is one of the best guitar products I've bought in many years!
Thanks Tony! Or is it Thanks Ray? :D
I'm glad they worked out for you...I know at one point you thought there was some issue with the sound if I remember. I find I don't use mine too often, except when I use the acoustic because being away from the amp is a good thing for feedback control. Otherwise, I'm usually fiddling with the multi-function pedal as I play/practice and that requires me to be right up at cord length anyway.
I disremember having any complaints, but I've slept since then. I've no complaints today & I've used it a lot. :)

When I was connecting with a regular 10ft cable, there was always interference to varying degrees based on my position but it's completely quiet with the wireless system. I'm going to have to try it later with a few other guitars, especially ones with single coils...
I've been using mine for a few weeks now, and it's been working great. I have the same problems with noise/interference when using cables, but I don't get that with the transmitter, either.
uwmcscott wrote: Mon Jun 28, 2021 9:55 pm I tried an experiment a while back with a set of bluetooth headphones and a bluetooth transmitter that plugged into a headphone jack, and there was definitely latency there - just enough to completely throw my brain for a loop and make them unusable ;-)
I tried using a Bluetooth transmitter over a year ago as well, because the cheapest RF transmitters were about $80 at the time, and I didn't want to spend that much money on something I wasn't sure I needed that much. Bluetooth has an inherent latency of 30ms, which is too much of a delay for playing guitar, but these transmitters only have a 10ms delay, which is unnoticeable.

BTW, my receiver never shuts it self off. Neither does the transmitter.

2 times in a year? My amoon 5.8 runs about 4 to possibly 6 hours. What kind of hours are you getting?

I dunno.
I may use it a half hour today.
Then not use it again for 3 or 4 days, then use it an hour, etc.
The way I tend to use it, it seems to sorta recover during the breaks.

I can't honestly say how many times I have recharged it, just trying to say
the way I use it, it seldom needs recharging.
I've been impressed with the way it works in that regard.

My 5.8 ghz system Runs 4 to 6 hours, should have less interference because of shorter range of freq plus its generally less busy. Has latency because mine converts to digital but also makes for less interference? The range is to around 30 ft so maybe the 2.4 is better range? More expensive. Some of the 5.8 have possibly serious latency but mine seems unnoticeable (<6ms) and I'm sensitive to it.

The 2.4ghz are usually analog it seems so no digital translation latency, longer range, cheaper, greater possibility of interference.
Also possibly much greater battery life? If so I may want to get a backup 2.4. I have had my amoon die on me during a very long jam where I let other use my rig too.
Am I right about the 2.4 synopsis? Anyone have more info as I'm just extrapolating here?

I like mine alot and I see others getting them after seeing or using mine at the jams.

heres my specs
【No-interference】: Less than 6ms latency, no lag or no signal loss, supports uncompressed signal transmitting and more than 100 feet outdoor transmission range, this guitar wireless system supports simultaneous broadcasts on 4 channels.
【Long Work Time】: ammoon wireless guitar system working time is up to 5 hours after fully charged, and comes with a USB cable for convenient recharging, which ensures good performance for your every show.
【Clear Signal Transmission】: Superior 110dB dynamic range, 24-bit/48KHz high-quality audio broadcasting, and 10Hz-22kHz full frequency response for more stable and more clear signal transmission.
【Easy to Set up】: Long press the signal key to match transmitter and receiver at the same time, no other operation is required. If Transmitter & Receiver can not connect with each other, they need ID Pairing to Reset before first using, please see User Manual.
【Widely Used】: 220° rotatable plug design, available for most electric guitars, bass, electric-acoustic guitars, even suitable for stratocaster style guitars with vibrato system.

So maybe 20 to 50 hours? 1-2 hours a week for 25 weeks? That would be a huge difference.

Those are great products, yes sir. And you got it for a nice price indeed. I got mine for free with the aid of Mossman (he also got one set); not Muslady in this case, these are Lekato. The company was offering full refund if you bought one and wrote a review on Amazon. Still haven´t used it for real, just tested if it worked - it did -. Just got it two days ago.

Well, enjoy it!

PS: I´d have to thank @ID10t in my case.
I'd love to try the 2.4 and compare it to my 5.8 and write a review. How do I get in on this free deal?

Also whatever you get make sure it swivels and tucks against the side of the guitar. The ones that stick out must have a 3 hour life before you destroy it or it destroys your guitar.

What part of "I dunno" do you fail to understand?
My point has been that I use them infrequently (been a lot of years since I played for 4-6 hours at a stretch!)
I have recharged them whenever they have needed it, which is infrequently.
I have been pleasantly surprised that their need for recharging has been so infrequent.
I cannot attest to the type battery in them, but some types of rechargables do sorta "bounce back" if used intermittantly, other do not.
Let me state again, my use is intermittant & the battery life has been long.

I have to charge mine about once a week. Like Mickey, I don't keep a log of how long I play each time, but I think the claim of 6 hrs is accurate.

Pro tip:

When recharging, make sure the power switch is turned off, otherwise it won't charge. I learned that this weekend. When I charged the set, the switch on the transmitter was still in the 'on' position, so the receiver fully charged, but the transmitter was still dead.

You have to contact the company and set it up with them before making the purchase. They'll ask you for a link to your Amazon profile, so they know that you're legit. Then they'll need the order number after you make the purchase. When you receive the item, give it about a week, then write your review and send them a link to it. I got my refund in a couple of days.

Sabas was the one who set it up with the company, so he can give you the contact info. This was back in late April, though. I don't know if this offer is still available.

That was pretty much it. I was about to respond to Damon´s question but you did it better and shorter than I´d have done :)

@nomadh I just wrote to them in one of their free stuff offerings; and then it´s as Mossman said. Right now I don´t see any offering, but you can message them on FB asking about their free stuff, saying that you´re interested in one of their 2.4 ghz guitar wireless system and see what happens. They were usually offering free stuff for US and UK customers.

Their last giveaway was on april 23:

I tried a wireless transmitter/receiver a while back, didn't know any better and got UHF, it was OK for clean/no gain, but as soon as I had any gain, it was pure white noise floor that was so annoying. Seemed to be worse on digital modeling amps even playing clean.

Maybe I need to look at one of these. If only I had a way to use a remote to turn the Amp on/off as well...

FWIW, I'm using an Atomic Amplifire A3 modeler through primarily a headphone but also a FRFR monitor and even with the high gain amps (Peavey 5150, Mesa Boogie Mark IV, Rectifier, etc) or any of the other usual suspects with a lot of distortion, there's no change in the quality...

Maybe I should open another thread for this, but since I mentioned the Lekato experience, I´ll put this on here this time only.

Lekato is offering a looper for free, I supposed the same way they did with the wireless set. But ask them to be sure.

Well I always RTFM first, no matter how simple it looks to operate (sometimes my wife gets mad at me for that; "Why you need to read it? Just turn it on!". Most of times she´s right, but I read it all the same :)).
