I love my SX EG7.
Unfortunately, I had it in a padded gig bag when I moved from NYC to Texas last year...and that wasn't enough protection. It got damaged. Luckily, just cosmetic, but it got a hole in the body. Will take photo when I get back to San Antonio.
this was when I first got it

yeah, it sucks. But it was my only guitar that got damaged in the move. And I had like 20.
And as much as I love it...it cost less than $200 brand new. Don't remember what I paid for it.

I spent more for its case.

Omega, I wish i had one now.

WTF is that?Partscaster wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2020 5:58 pm

Very nice. That bass groove is tasty, too.peskypesky wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2020 5:07 pm I love my SX EG7.

I saw reference to it as "Hadean/Omega", then the Hadean dropped out, in an old forum thread about them being new and looking cool.
I now see the old rondo links of Hadean EG532.

What do you think of it? How do you like it?
I used to know Paul. Helluvaspicker!
He died of cancer back about 2011.
Pancreatic cancer, I think. Nobody ever lives long with that!
Well, except Alex Trebek.
I've long wanted to try the Yandell pickups.
But the price of admission is awfully high for something you don't know if you'll like.

I fingerpick alot on acoustic so I wanted something that would reproduce that the best. I feel the bar on the high strings helps with volume drop off.mickey wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2020 8:21 am What do you think of it? How do you like it?

I guess it also helps he had a bunch of pickups on clearance a few years ago for 1/2 off so I grabbed this and a few others.

My hearing isn't good enough anymore to tell.
But it was shot with a camcorder at a live show in the two-thousand-oh-somethings, so I would say it is quite possible.
