OH my it looks like sienna strat is currently inoperable... What were you doing while waiting for this strap?
It's like ok, you made me hold off all the way until the wedding night, then I find out your were tucking?

Seriously, thank you for your kind words, and I think it looks great from here... maybe could have had a bit more browny red burst
but I wanted to make it light and thin enough so that the cowboy border tooling would show up better.

NOTE TO ANYONE WATCHING. Not just any customer gets double cheezies so get that idea outta your head RIGHT NOW!!!
You have to be elite chocol8 level customer, and do a similar amount of mewing and shameless begging for that experience.

Thank you again for the opportunity. I guarantee this strap will outlast all members of the original Grateful Dead lineup.

The jack plate is unscrewed but the guitar is functional. I installed a stratoblaster under the input jack but had some issues. After some measurements and debugging, I narrowed it down to a way out of spec JFET and I will be soldering in a replacement tonight.

For those that don’t know, the Stratoblaster is a simple single JFET pre-amp/buffer circuit that serves a few purposes.

It provides a buffer and impedance drop to drive long cable runs and pedal boards without tone loss due to cable capacitance. It also allows use of the volume pot without loss of highs.

It can provide up to about 12 db of clean boost to bring your vintage single coil pickups to the same (or higher) level as hotter buckers to drive an amp or level sensitive pedals harder.

Finally, if you push it to the max, you get a little hair from JFET distortion.

This sexy beast, weighing in at a hair under 11 pounds, is now Well-Hung and much safer on the Pro-Pins than it ever was on strap locks!

And the Firebird knows it's better to be Well-Hung... (BTW, even the Well-Hung screws are nowhere near long enough to come out of the fretboard, so you're perfectly safe unless you do something idiotic with the drill while deepening the hole.)

THANKS BRAD!!!

Wow. That grateful dead strap is as custom as custom gets. People are going to looking up what's a well hung strap long after we're all gone.

My Buddy and I are both very Well-Hung. So of course we adorn our half stacks with our flags!

We're both Shock & Awe troopers and I only use Well-Hung straps on my guitars. Brad can do no wrong! Representing down here in Bordertown Texas!

The flags add 100watts of pure rockin power and e'nuff mojo and to last for even the longest gig.

Great use of the flags! Mine is just draped over a couch in my music room so I need to come up with something better now.
