Guys, let it go. We were screwed. Whining about it or planning adolescent attempts of revenge is silly. The best revenge is to move on and show how little their little betrayal actually affected the community at large. Why care about who are still members there or the admin of the new board? It's no longer our home.

Actually, destroying their reputation, using up their time and money, and hurting their chances of getting new users or additional funding are much more effective. They don’t give a hoot if we have moved on or not. They do care if their scam business goes under.

But really I have thought to myself "I wonder if these guys are learning and we were lucky to be so early on their list."
1. Before you destroy "aknittingforum.com" also buy the .net, .tv, .dot. .everything. *.*
2. Pet them a little before you whip it out. (I don't think that would have worked so much here, but they might target weaker groups.)
3. Shut down posting and messaging on previous site immediately.
4. If I were them and vengeful, I know Patrick wouldn't sell our butts, but we are hosted by someone and if I (them) had deep pockets I would buy our host. Revenge is a long game.

"Them" appears to be 4-5 people, and they appear to be busy trying to clean up two messes, so I doubt they are spending much time here other than to check in and see that we have 2,565 new posts and they have 1, not counting the stuff they need to delete!

I have no idea why they haven't shut the old site down yet. It has nothing new other than messages attacking them and telling people to come here.

Ahhhh, yep. That's when AGF was running like garbage and Minor Tom introduced a new :hot shot troubleshooter". I forget what his name was. Something weird, and I remember at the time that the whole thing had a weird vibe. I even wondered if minor tom's account had been hacked and the "hotshot troubleshooter" was the hacker.

In a way I guess that is kind of how it went. Not 100%, but sort of, sideways.
