Scored this deal off Nextdoor. Could not pass it up.
2010 Deluxe Nashville Telecaster. Hard/soft case, Frontman 65R with tag still on it, and footswitch, and a Fender soft bag. Missing switch tip, and one scratch on upper bout edge where your arm rests.
Middle age lady who thought she wanted to play guitar. Had been sitting in a closet for a couple years. Basically unplayed.
$350 for everything.
Holy smoke, what a deal.

Nextdoor? Crap, now I got to watch there too?
Couple more pr0n photos after polish, contact cleaner, new switch tip, and new strings.
I like the neck on this more than my CV 50s tele. This one is 12" radius, and a little chunkier. LPish. Jury is out on the pickups. I like the bridge pup on the CV better I think. But the neck pup on the Nashville is better than the CV.
Guess I need to have both.

Hell of a deal! Nextdoor drives me crazy with the old people around me treating it like a facebook on steroids. I'm only on it for actually useful neighborhood information like when garbage days get rescheduled due to snowfall. If I scored a deal like this through it, though, it would be worth it!
What was really the best part is that the wife showed it to me and said "let's go take a look at it".RockYoWorld wrote:Hell of a deal! The best part is that your wife can recognize a killer deal on gear when she sees it... None of my past SOs would have even taken notice.jhull54 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 11:05 pmWhat was really the best part is that the wife showed it to me and said "let's go take a look at it".RockYoWorld wrote:Hell of a deal! When I told my wife I found a repaired neck gibson sg for $100 she went with me. When it bid up to 160 she pushed to still get it. It worked out well. Turns out it had an ebony fb as it was the end of the crescent inlay faded series. She doesn't play anymore but does own a usa strat and a lp customMossman wrote: ↑Wed Mar 24, 2021 8:18 pmThe best part is that your wife can recognize a killer deal on gear when she sees it...
